1.day – Arrival in Budapest

Arrival at the airport of Budapest. Welcome from our guide. Guided transfer to the hotel.

Take-over the rooms. Dinner in the hotel

2.day – Sightseeing in Budapest

After breakfast guided sightseeing tour in Budapest, visiting the famous sights of the capital: Heroes Square, Vajdahunyad Castle, Andrássy út with the Opera House, St.Stephen’s Basilica.

Lunch in the city (2course without beverages)

Drive to the Margaret island - London has Hyde Park, NYC has Central Park, Milan has Parco Sempione. Budapest’s green oasis is Margaret Island or Margitsziget, an island in the river Danube that runs through the city.
There is no better way to discover the island, than using a bicycle carriage, which makes it easy to come around and it is a fun way also, do not miss it!

The sightseeing follows on the Buda side: Castle District with the Castle of Buda, Matthias Church, Fishermen’s Bastion.

3.day - Budapest, Szentendre, Visegrád

After breakfast visit at the Parliament. The main style of the building is neo-gothic with renaissance influences, but the base ground plan is Baroque. A strong Byzantine influence is noticeable in the interior of the building, especially in the marvelously decorated staircase hall.

Followed by drive to Szentendre. Viewing the little scenic town, which charms with its’ Mediterranean atmosphere, it is also famous as a town of arts with its’ baroque churches and a lots of museums.
Lunch individually

Drive to Visegrád. Visegrád is the town of living mediaeval times, where the silence of the Danube, the music of the castle and the eternal feast of the forest makes us forget about the world outside. 
The day continuous with a knights’ tournament at the lower castle (Salamon tower). 
The performance takes place on the tournament field located next to the tower, performed by the Saint George Knightly Order. King and a queen are selected from the guests; they are dressed in robes and crowned by the knights. On the call of the king, the knights march in and show their targeting and fighting skills with medieval weapons to the royal couple and their guests. The realistic face-to-face battles recall the courage and spirit of the medieval knights in an exciting way with a bit of humor. At the end of the show, you have the opportunity to try some of the weapons with the help of the knights.

At the end return to the hotel to Budapest

4.day - Visit at the Hungarian State Opera and bathing at the Széchenyi Thermal bath

After breakfast visit at the Budapest Opera House with a mini concert, this includes 2 arias performed by one opera singer.
The Hungarian State Opera House is not only the sanctum of music and dance, but also a historical monument. The construction started in 1875 with the permission and financial support of Franz Joseph, emperor of Austria and king of Hungary. The plans and personal instructions were conducted by Nicholas Ybl. The Opera House opened its gate in front of the public on the 27th September, 1884.

In the afternoon bathing at the Széchenyi Thermal Bath. Budapest can rightly be called the city of spas, and the Szechenyi Bath and Spa was its first thermal baths on the Pest side, it is also the largest thermal bath of Budapest. The neo-baroque baths was built in 1913. Its thermal springs were discovered in 1879 - they are the deepest and warmest thermal wells in Budapest. It is a vast complex of indoor and outdoor pools, the premier medicinal bath of Pest, situated in the middle of the City Park.

5.day - Homeward journey

After breakfast transfer to the airport of Budapest.
