Downstairs there is something of a supermarket, as well as vendors of fresh fish and game. The top level is where you’ll find handicrafts and other locally-produced crafts, as well as typical souvenirs.
After the visit coffee and cake in the famous New York Café. Sándor Steuer a member of a famous coffee-family opened the gem of the building the “most beautiful café in the world” on October 23, 1894. In February 2001 the Italian Boscolo Group undertook the reconstruction of the legendary building. From Spring 2006 the New York Café welcomes its guests in all its former splendor recalling the milieu of the beginning of the 20th century with an additional more modern design touch.
Followed by bathing in the Széchenyi Thermal Bath. Budapest can rightly be called the city of spas, and the Szechenyi Bath and Spa was its first thermal baths on the Pest side. Széchenyi Thermal Bath is the largest thermal bath of Budapest. The neo-baroque baths were built in 1913. Its thermal springs were discovered in 1879 – they are the deepest and warmest thermal wells in Budapest. It is a vast complex of indoor and outdoor pools, the premier medicinal bath of Pest, situated in the middle of the City Park.
