1.day – Arrival in Budapest

Arrival at the airport of Budapest. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner in the hotel

2. day – Budapest

After breakfast guided sightseeing tour in Budapest, visiting the most famous sights of the capital: Heroes Square, Andrássy út with the Opera House, St.Stephen’s Basilica , Vaci Street- pedestrian area and Great Market Hall.

Lunch individually

In the afternoon the sightseeing continuous on the Buda side: Castle District with the Castle of Buda (from the outside), Matthias Church (facultative entrance), Fishermen’s Bastion (facultative entrance)

In the late afternoon drive back to the hotel. Dinner in the hotel

2. day – Danube Bend

After breakfast meeting with the guide and drive to Szentendre. Viewing the little scenic town, which charms with its’ Mediterranean atmosphere, it is also famous as a town of arts with its’ baroque churches and a lots of museums. Lunch individually.

Drive to Visegrád. Visegrád is the town of living mediaeval times, where the silence of the Danube, the music of the castle and the eternal feast of the forest makes us forget about the world outside. The organic coexistence of past and nature makes Visegrád a special memorial of our national history and the centre of the Danube Bend, which is well known to tourists all over Europe.

The day continuous with a knights’ tournament at the lower castle (Salamon tower). The performance takes place on the tournament field located next to the tower, performed by the Saint George Knightly Order. King and a queen are selected from the guests, they are dressed in robes and crowned by the knights. On the call of the king, the knights march in and show their targeting and fighting skills with medieval weapons to the royal couple and their guests. The realistic face-to-face battles recall the courage and spirit of the medieval knights in an exciting way with a bit of humor. At the end of the show, you have the opportunity to try some of the weapons with the help of the knights.
Finally royal feast: 3 course menu, with red- and white wine without stint.

At the end of the day return to the hotel to Budapest

4.day – Homeward journey

After breakfast transfer to the airport, homeward journey.
